TEch Labs

COLAB Tech Labs are a series of commissions, exhibitions and scratches to propel the idea of integrating technology into theatre.

We want to work with as many exciting creatives, producers and programmers to work together and form a basis of tech in theatre. We want to create a platform where programmers and artists can come together and create together, opening a world into making more and more engaging theatre. 

We have an incredible chance to broaden our understanding of technology and it can be utilised to improve the theatrical experience. 

At the moment Tech Detectives and Astra's Associates are the two programmes running with more on the way. We have programmers on board which we want to partner with artists and writers to create a mini series of programmes that can run throughout the year. The idea is to have the mini series that all accumulate into a final performance at the end of the year. 

Lets stop turning our phones off during a performance and make them a window into another world.
